How Astex PRISTINE® can reduce allergy suffering in pregnancy
A five-year study funded by the British Lung Foundation and the National Asthma Campaign found that pregnant women who suffer from allergies are more likely to have babies who develop allergies and asthma.
Researchers found that it is possible to minimise the risk of the baby developing allergies and asthma by reducing a woman’s exposure to allergens while she is pregnant. Astex PRISTINE® Encasements are recommended for pregnant allergy sufferers.

Conclusion:
The risk of emergency hospital attendance was reduced by 45% by fitting Astex PRISTINE® Encasements to the mattress, duvet and pillow.
